We have a very important announcement this month: next week we are going to Chiapas for the final site evaluation for our Master Course Wilderness Retreat! The details are in this week’s Sunday Satsang video on our blog site.

Florian & I are packing up El Burro (our trusty ‘97 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4×4) with everything we’ll need for camping. The first leg of the journey will be to Lake Catemaco in Veracruz for a week of lake and beach camping just for warmup. Then we will drive through Tabasco to Palenque in Chiapas, and then to the Lacanja Forest and Las Nubes. All these places are beautiful, prime ecotourism destinations near the southern border of Mexico.

Of course we will video all the important stages of our trip, and share these with you on our YouTube channel and the blog site. We will encounter some of the most beautiful scenery in Mexico, and of course you will especially want to see the final site for our upcoming retreats. So stay tuned to our blog site, visit our public Forum and subscribe to our YouTube channel for regular updates.

Stats up again

Well it took some time to get out of the New Year slump that happens to many sites, including ours. Stats have been down about 20% from the peak in mid-November through the holidays. Now they’re gradually rising as more people come out of their winter shells and start looking for spiritual advancement and alternatives. We have started some low-key promotion on forums dealing with spiritual topics, and our YouTube channel is approaching 200,000 views. We have about 160 students registered on our course site, 473 subscribers to this newsletter and 395 video subscribers on YouTube.

Sunday Satsang 2 March 2008

Today’s big announcement is that Florian and I are leaving to make the final site selection for our Esoteric Teaching Master Course Wilderness Retreat. We will be visiting Lake Catemaco, Palenque, the Lacanja Forest, Las Nubes and points in between. Of course we will video everything of importance and stay in touch. But we will not be online as much as we have been in the past.

We will be gone as little as two weeks or as much as a month. It just depends on what happens and how Krsna arranges our journey. We are determined to find a nice location that will accommodate our group and has the necessary facility. So we will like to do a bit of exploing in addition to the places we already know about. It may well be that there is an undiscovered gem that does not show up online.
